Slacklining is the art of balancing on a webbed line stretched between two anchor points. It's is different from tightrope walking in that the line is not held rigidly taut. Instead it's dynamic, stretchy and the user can bounce on it like a narrow trampoline.

The line's tension can be adjusted to suit the user and different types of webbing can be used. The nature of the line allows for a practised slackliner to do tricks and impressive stunts.

Heinz Zak has been slacklining since the early 80's and was the first person to go on record for longest slackline (100m, august 2005).

He will be ging a spectacular highline show in the center of town over the Malzerkreuzung on friday. The show starts at 20:00 and lasts untill 22:00.

Saterday starts off with beginners classes followed by a long- and highline workshop. The day ends with a special jumpline workshop. 

An extra beginners workshop will be given on sunday in the little park below The Scotland Yard pub.
