Train:
From London:
Take the EUROSTAR from London St. Pancras to Paris Nord. When you get there, it is a short walk/metro/cab ride to Paris Est where you take the TGV to Zurich. In Zurich you take the Euronight train to Innsbruck where you change again.
The city night line will take you to Jenbach and to the last leg of your journey.
In Jenbach the little red chug-a-bug Zillertalbahn awaits to take you to Mayrhofen.
From the trainstation in Mayrhofen it is a 5-minute walk to the Gasthof.
For some of these trains a reservation is mandatory so don’t forget this whilst planning your trip or you could be fined and possibly even be escorted off the train.
Traveltime: approx. 17 hours

Plane:
When taking the plane to Mayrhofen you have two choices.
Either fly to Munich and take the train from Munchen HBF to Jenbach and the Zillertalbahn to Mayrhofen or fly to Innsbruck, take the train from either Völs or Innsbruck Hötting and do the same.
Traveltime: approx. 8 hours

Depending on when you plan your trip, flying could be considerably cheaper. However, the early bird taking the train can catch discounts up to 50%.

Car:
When using a navigation system make sure you type in Schwendau in stead of Mayrhofen. The Gasthof is located just over the municipal border in which case it does not have an adres in Mayrhofen.
